Welcome back, today I am announcing that I have stayed in Minnesota to pursue my passion which ironically is geocaching. Yes the thing that got introduced to me in Minnesota is the reason for my stay. I am trying to break the state record of most for most geocaches collected in a year and it started right after our trip to the slopes.
Update #1:
Im 4 months in and I am already halfway there 2000 more to go. these 4 months have been tireing, really long days out in the wild and plenty of time behind the wheel trying to get to different locations. Hiking, car rides and sleep is what majority of my days have been looking like but I still enjoy it. One of my friends Oliver decided to stay as well since he met his girlfriend here, so at least I am not alone here.
Update #2:
8 months down and I have got a job now at a supermarket, combining the geocaching with work is not easy. First of all I have to wake up early go to work to then later in the day hunt for geocaches I am barely managing at this point. The goal is 4000 and I am at 3500, I am reaching my goal even though motivation has never been this low.
Update #3:
Finally! I am done, I have reached my goal and broke the state record for most geocaches collected in a year in the state of Minnesota. I will be spending new years here in Minnesota but in a week from now I will move to Las Vegas to pursue my passion. This year has really opened up my eyes and I now know what I want to do with my life, it’s not geocaching, it is poker. Las Vegas is the perfect spot to get into the poker scene and another big factor for the sudden change of career is Daniel Negreanu, I had no idea but Oliver’s wife was from Canada and Daniel and her were close friends for a long time and they still keep in touch. Daniel Negreanu is a very succesful poker player and he has promised to help me get into the business.
I promised myself to live in the now and let time decide my future. I really enjoy not knowing what is ahead and that is the way I am keeping it.
